Tractor attachments do lots of work, and sometimes the jobs they have to do are harder and more difficult than some, which is why you need extreme duty tractor attachments. Tractor attachments are made out of steel, and some lighter duty attachments are cut out of 3/16" thick steel, which under load of a heavy high horsepower tractor will bend or break very quickly. For an extreme duty attachment, you need to start with thicker, heavier steel, possibly up to 1" thick depending upon the work you intend to do with it.

Tractor Box Blades

The tractor box blade is a great example of an attachment that should be properly sized to fit your tractor, if you use a heavy duty box blade on a small tractor, you won't have enough power to pull or lift the box blade without any dirt in it.
